Using the Library from Home

While the library building is closed or you're off-campus, the library is committed to resourcing your seminary journey. The library's collections include hundreds of thousands of e-books and e-journals accessible from anywhere in the world. Library staff are always available to answer your questions or help you find resources for your studies.

Where can I find more updates about the library and its resources?

  • Brightspace Virtual Library. On the Brightspace learning platform, be sure to add the Bishop Payne Library to your list of "courses." Library staff update that page with the latest resources and tips.

  • Facebook Page - Bishop Payne Library. Staff regularly update the VTS Community via the BPL Facebook page. "Like" to receive updates.

  • Libguides - The library has an extensive list of how-to guides and subject-specific guides. These "libguides" contain helpful troubleshooting information and introductions to research subject areas. Visit them here.
